FLOSS UK DevOps 24-26 March 2015

FLOSS UK's annual Spring conference will take place in York from the 24th to the 26th March 2015. Craig Gallen will be presenting about OpenNMS at the conference. Please come along and say 'hello'.

This is the UK's only conference aimed specifically at systems and network administrators. It attracts a large number of professionals from sites of all shapes and sizes. As well as the technical talks, the conference provides a friendly environment for delegates to meet, learn, and enjoy lively debate on a host of subjects.

FLOSS UK is the new name for the UK Unix User Group (UKUUG). FLOSS stands for Free and Libre Open Source Software. (The term Libre is used because the meaning of Free in English is ambiguous. It can mean both free as in gratis - 'a free lunch' and the freedom to take what is already known and given and be able to build upon it. This principle is itself hundreds if not thousands of years old and forms the basis of scholarship and the scientific method.)
